Instruction
E9016-D1 is an alkaline low alloy steel electrode, which can be used for all-position welding, both AC and DC. Has excellent mechanical properties and crack resistance.
Application
Applicable to occasions without DC welding, for welding medium carbon steel and low-alloy high-strength steel structures of corresponding strength, such as 15MnVN.

Notes:
- Before welding, the electrode must be baked at about 400 ℃ for 1 hour, and it can be used with the baking;
- Before welding, the weldment should be cleaned of rust, oil, moisture and other impurities;
- Short arc operation must be used during welding, and a narrow bead is appropriate;
- When the weldment is thick, it should be preheated to above 150℃ and cooled slowly after welding.
