Comply to GB/T 10858 SAl 5183, equivalent to AWS A5.10 ER5183
Instruction
ER5183 is used for welding base metal with high magnesium content and requiring strong tensile strength or seawater corrosion resistance. The welding wire has excellent welding performance, beautiful welding seam, stable arc and less spatter.
Application
Used for welding-related aluminum alloys such as ship structures, offshore platforms, cryogenic vessels, railway locomotives and automobile industries, such as 5083 and 15654 base metals.

Notes:
- Before welding, the oxide film and oil stains on the welding edge of the workpiece and the surface of the welding wire should be strictly removed.
- The backing plate can be used to hold the molten metal during welding to ensure the formation of the weld.
